    About

    Sherri Caldwell-Bentley, M.Ed., LPCC

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor, licensed in the state of Kentucky since 2013. I acquired my BA in Psychology from Spalding University in 2004 and my M.Ed. in Human Development and Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in 2013. My experience in therapy practice began at Home of the Innocents in Louisville, KY where I worked with community-based youth and children just released from in-patient hospitalization, transitioning back into their home. Prior to that, I worked with families in crisis through several non-profit groups in the Louisville area.

I am owner of Solutions thru Counseling, where I focus on solutions with clients and empower them to seek change and enrich their lives. I provide a safe space to process life’s transitions to build a stronger present and power future. While I work with a wide range of clients, I have a passion for working with women who struggle with self-esteem, depression, anxiety and trauma. If you are struggling with sadness, anxiety, or simply being overwhelmed and need a safe, non-judgmental listener, I am committed to helping you discover the solution that’s right for you. It’s my hope to provide individuals the opportunity to transform their lives and help them find balance.

I am passionate about meeting, listening and helping people feel better about themselves and their world around them. Life is hard but things really can be better. It’s work. It’s hard work. Sometimes it means changing your thoughts and beliefs, and the way you’ve done things in the past. But the work is creating a new you.

After my own journey of ups and downs, I have no judgment to put upon you.  I’ve had my own struggles in life. But, it’s because of these events I found the love for myself and of psychology, the study of human behavior. Through all of these things I’ve found peace with myself. I absolutely believe God has me right where He wants me and doing what I love and for his glory.

There are people and resources out there just for you. It’s easy to get started. Just pick up the phone and call. I will do the rest!
